PROK & FITCH

In recent years Brighton duo Prok & Fitch have well and truly established themselves as kings of the dance floor with their unpretentious and undiluted pure House productions. Tipped as ‘One To Watch’ in 2009, these guys certainly didn’t disappoint and have since spread their sound around the globe. More importantly, perhaps, is the fact that they’ve been named one of Beatport’s Rising Stars for 2010! This is a definitive list of artists destined for even bigger things this year, which includes acts like Bingo Players and Joris Voorn.

Luckilly, their relentless DJ schedule hasn’t prevented them from also fitting in some seriously productive studio time. Last Monday saw the release of Jorgensen & Jesse Voorn’s ‘Carlton’ which features a delicious Prok & Fitch remix. And there’s a lot more to come:

New single ‘The Heat’is due for release at the end of February. It contains vocals from Max C and includes remixes by John Dahlbeck, Nice 7 and a Prok & Fitch floorplay dub!

Then, on March 6th make sure you get yourself a copy of ‘Umbeki,’ their collaboration with My Digital Enemy with vocals by Mamboo inc. which includes remixes from Matteo DiMarr.

Also the hype is growing around their forthcoming release on Axwell’s Axtone label. Rumour has it that ‘Walk With Me’ featuring Nanchang Nancy will see the light at this year’s Winter Music Conference in Miami.

As well as this there are a number of great tracks coming up on their own label, Floorplay Music. Look out for a Prok & Fitch remix of the Kraak & Smaak single ‘California Roll’ and the release of an EP by Dutch rising star, Jordy Lishious.
