MC, rapper, zanger, songwriter en producer; Bizzey mag met recht de titel 'allround entertainer' op zijn visitekaartje zetten. Zijn status is ook het toonaangevende boekingskantoor 1Management niet ontgaan, dat hem onlangs onder de hoede heeft genomen. Daarmee schaart Bizzey zich tussen andere vocalisten van het hoogste niveau, zoals MC Gee, Lady Bee, Yanto, Gia Mellish en Mo MC.

In het weekend staat hij in clubs door het land om dj-sets van de grootste house-iconen te voorzien van opzwepende shout-outs en zoetgevooisde zang. Doordeweeks is hij druk bezig in de studio, waar hij werkt aan eigen tracks en zijn eerste artiestenalbum dat dit jaar verschijnt. Zijn comfortabele positie in danceland is niet over één nacht ijs gegaan. Bizzey weet wat hard werken betekent.

Flashback
Bizzey (1984) heeft Surinaamse roots maar is geboren en getogen in Amersfoort. Al op dertienjarige leeftijd was hij er heilig van overtuigd dat hij op het podium moest staan. Dat deed hij aanvankelijk als breakdancer, maar al snel ontwikkelde hij zich ook tot rapper, zanger en zelfs songwriter. Zijn carrière als MC nam een vlucht toen hij in 2006 regelmatig optrad naast Don Diablo. De chemie tussen die twee zette zich voort in de studio, wat resulteerde in de single 'This way (Too Many Times)'. De clip werd een groot succes, zowel online - nog voor de officiële releasedatum van de single was de video al 400.000 keer bekeken op YouTube - als op de muziekzenders op televisie. De samenwerking hield aan. Zo brachten Don en Bizzey daarna de plaat 'Music is My Life' voort, en veroverde de vocalist in 2008 een vaste plek in de non-stop tour van Don Diablo. Tegenwoordig staat Bizzey als MC naast DJ's zoals Quintino, D-Rashid en Sidney Samson.

Produceren
Maar ook als solomuzikant timmert hij succesvol aan de weg. De muziek die Bizzey produceert is naar eigen zeggen niet in een hokje te plaatsen. Het is geen hiphop, rock, urban of Latin house pur sang, maar op en top 'Bizzey Music'. Breed toegankelijk voor een groot publiek, uplifting en razend aanstekelijk. Zijn eerste single 'The Fur' (2006) bereikte de Nederlandse Top 50. Voor zijn tweede single 'Still Care' (2007) vloog Bizzey naar Bangkok om een clip op te nemen met het bekende reclameduo Habbekrats. Dit bezorgde hem een uitnodiging om in Basel (Zwitserland) op te treden in het voorprogramma van De La Soul! Hij won een FunX Award in de categorie 'aanstormend talent' en zong zijn nummers bij Top of the Pops, TMF on Tour, Dance Valley en andere grote feesten.

Samen met Sidney Samson en Lady Bee maakte hij de hit 'Let's Go'. De plaat werd gebombardeerd tot 'Radio 538 Dance Smash' en 'Kom uit je Dip Tip' op FunX FM. 'Let's Go' werd in oktober 2009 uitgebracht door de labels Spinnin' Records en Samsobeats en in Australië door Ministry of Sound. More to come
Begin 2010 volgen er meer tracks met videoclips: in februari verschijnt de solo single 'Down', geproduceerd met hiphopheld Orange Breakdown (aka SirOJ) en in maart 'Stronger', een samenwerking met de Bassjackers. In februari wordt er een Nope is Dope Mixtape uitgebracht, gemixt door eclectic dj's Nizzle & Jim Aasgier en van vloeiende vocalen voorzien door MC Bizzey. Het drietal tourt momenteel door het land. Ook werkt Bizzey, enigszins in het geheim, aan projecten met internationale dj/producers. Zijn allereerste soloalbum hoopt Bizzey deze zomer te releasen! BIZZEY joins 1MANAGEMENT!

We are proud to inform you that Bizzey has become part of the 1Management family as of the 1st of January 2010!

Bizzey is truly an all-round entertainer. For the past 5 years he has emceed alongside various artists, including Chuckie, Switch (Major Lazer), Fedde le Grand and many others.
During the Dance4Life concert in 2006, Bizzey took to the stage with Don Diablo for the first time. It was immediately clear that these two made an exciting combination. Fueled by their artistic chemistry they went on to record the single “This Way (Too Many Times)”. It is this collaboration that well and truly accelerated Bizzey’s career. The track was a huge success - Even before the release, the video had already been seen 400.000 times on YouTube! Following this success ‘Music is My Life’ was released and Bizzey joined Don Diablo on his non-stop tour.

Nowadays Bizzey shares the stage with DJ’s like Sunnery James& Ryan Marciano, Quintino and Sidney Samson. Bizzey profiles himselfs as an MC Host for club nights, but he’s also busy collaborating with several other artists. He recently worked with Sidney Samson and Lady Bee on track "Let’s Go", which quickly became a Radio 538 Dance Smash. Another collaboration can be expected soon, this time with Bassjackers – the track and video will be released very shortly. On top of all this Bizzey continues to write inspiring new material for himself and others. He’s currently working hard on his solo career, the efforts of which can soon be heard when he drops his new solo single in early 2010.
